ਸਿੱਖ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਨਾਤੇ, ਅਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਏਕਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਜਨਮ ਅਸ਼ਟਮੀ, ਭਗਵਾਨ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ, ਇੱਕ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਨੂੰ ਇਸਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਨਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਸਿੱਖੀ ਵਿੱਚ, ਸਾਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹੀ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਚੀਜ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਹੈ।

The tenth chapter of the Bhagavat defines the glory of incarnation of Krsna in the world. He performed many wonderful acts of bhog (merriment) and yoga (renunciation). Making Kauravs (sons of Dhrttrastr) and Pandays to fight against each other he further made them wonder struck. Indr and Brahma et al do not know the limits of his grandeur. When Raisfiy was arranged by Yudhisthar, all were allotted their duties. Krsna himself took over the duty of washing of the feet of all so that through this service. He could realize the importance of the service of the holy congregation and the Word of the Guru.
